Beijing, April 15 (ANI): Police in the Chinese city of Guangzhou have come up with a unique idea of hunting criminals by printing their images on playing cards and distributing them for free.
Guangzhou police said that printing the photographs of 54 most-wanted criminals on cards and making them public may help bring in information about them.
According to The China Daily, the police have started distributing around 50,000 decks of cards to people.
Each card has details of the criminal, including name, height, gender, hometown, case category, reward value, the report said.
The distribution of the decks was mainly focused on Baiyun, Zengchen, Haizhu and Tianhe districts, where more migrant workers live.
According to the report, in 2005, police in Zhengzhou, Henan province, became the first in China to use the same idea to trace criminals. (ANI)
