New Delhi, April 14 (IANS) Cloudy skies and light rainfall in some areas Saturday kept Delhi's maximum temperature six notches below normal at 29.6 degrees Celsius. The met department has said the clouds might clear up for Sunday's MCD polls.
"Sunday should see partly cloudy skies which could clear up later in the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures should be 32 and 20 degrees Celsius, respectively," an official at the India Meteorological Department told IANS.
The city saw light precipitation until early morning, followed by another 0.06 mm of rainfall until 5.30 p.m.
The minimum temperature was a notch above normal at 21.3 degrees Celsius while the humidity ranged between a maximum of 77 percent and a minimum of 42 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature recorded was one notch above average at 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches above average for the season at 23.3 degrees Celsius.
