London, Apr 13(ANI): Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has branded old foes and title challengers Manchester City as an unbalanced team full of egoists, and claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson's men have a better attitude than their crossroad rivals.
"City does not have a well-balanced team. They only have individuals who play for themselves. You can see that City lack the right team spirit," The Sun quoted Meulensteen, as saying.
"There is no chance of Balotelli playing for Manchester United. A player who gets up to the antics he does has no place at our club," he added.
Taking a dig at City's controversial striker Mario Balotelli, Meulensteen said Ferguson would never sign a player like him who only brings frustration to the club.
"I don't believe that Sir Alex would sign a player like Balotelli. We shouldn't get in people like him - they only bring frustration," Meulensteen said.
"United are accustomed to the pressure involved in going for the title. City are in a position to win the league for the first time in a long while but that is breaking them up. I thought they wouldn't hold out to the end," he added. (ANI)
