Bhopal, April 12 (IANS) L.N. Jhunjhunwala, chairman of the Indian Institute of Management-Indore, has resigned from the board of governors over alleged mismanagement in the institute.
Another board member and retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, M.N. Buch, has also resigned from the board.
"When Jhunjhunwala, who had appointed me, has left what my significance would remain there so I made way for some new and younger person," Buch told IANS.
Sources said the resignations, sent to the union Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry, are yet to be accepted.
IIM-Indore director N. Ravichandran could not be contacted for comment on the issue.
