Bangalore, April 11 (IANS) Three-month-old Afreen who was battered by her own father as he wanted a male child succumbed to her injuries Wednesday, hospital sources here said.
Doctors at Van Vilas Hospital said the infant died around 11.30 a.m. of cardiac arrest. She was admitted Sunday with bite marks and a severe head injury.
