Beijing, April 11 (IANS) The prices of China-made automobiles fell slightly last month while those of imported vehicles rose, the country's top planning agency said Tuesday.
Prices of automobiles in March fell by 0.17 percent from February, and by 1.26 percent from March last year, the National Development and Reform Commission said.
Passenger car prices in March dropped by 1.7 percent from a year earlier, while those of commercial vehicles decreased by 0.55 percent year-on-year, Xinhua reported.
However, the commission's price monitoring centre added that prices of imported vehicles in March climbed from the previous month. Prices of imported sedans rose by 2.1 percent month-on-month, while those of imported SUVs edged up 0.38 percent from February.
