Peshawar, Apr 10(ANI): The owner of iconic Indian film actor Dilip Kumar's house in Peshawar has rejected differing ownership claims on the property and slammed it an easy way of getting cheap publicity.
Ikramullah said that Dilip Kumar and his family had no share in the house as his father had sold it during his lifetime, The News reports.
Distributing copies of the property, its owners and transfer deeds made on various occasions along with death certificates of the people concerned, Ikramullah said whosoever was claiming to be the owner should approach the courts to know the facts.
He said the previous owners, Fawwad and Ishaq had already received the price of the property and therefore do not have any claim about its ownership.
"We have also discussed the matter with the provincial government and a local jirga but still some vested elements are issuing statements in the media about the ownership of the historic house," he said.
He said that he reserved the right to file a case for damages in the court against the fake claimants to the property. (ANI)
