Kannadigas' urge Centre to clear all pending projects of Karnataka

New Delhi, Apr 9 (ANI): The two-day 29th National Conference of the Kannada speaking people, which ended here on Sunday, urged the Central Government to clear all pending projects of Karnataka.

The conference, which was organized by 'Dehali Kannadiga', a Kannada monthly published from Delhi, asked Union Government to immediately implement Hubli-Ankola railway line project, introduce passenger service between Bangalore-Mangalore, include Tulu and Kodava languages of Kannada script in the eight schedule of the constitution.

The conference, which was inaugurated by Prof. Geetha Bali, former Vice Chancellor of Karnataka Women University on April 7, was presided over by Prof. B. Hanumayya, Vice Chancellor of Ambedkar University, Lucknow. (ANI)
