New Delhi, April 8 (IANS) It was a bright, sunny Easter morning in the national capital Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 22.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average for the season. The met department forecast a warm day ahead.
"The day will be warm, but the sky is likely to turn partly cloudy by evening. Maximum and minimum temperature will be around 39 and 22 degrees Celsius," said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 37.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average for the season.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. stood at 49 percent.
