London, Apr 8 (ANI): Robin Gibbs' brother, Barry, jetted to London after new fears were sparked regarding the 'Saved by the Bell' hitmaker's health.
Doctors suspect Robin, 62, may have developed pneumonia since announcing he was in remission from cancer last month.
Barry, 65, came from Tennessee, US, to join other members of the family at a private clinic in London on Saturday. His son Stephen, 39, flew in later from Miami.
"They fear it may be the last time they'll see Robin. His recovery and determination has been remarkable, but there's been a turn for the worse," the Sun quoted a family friend as saying.
"His body's taken a hell of a beating. The doctors fear for him but he's determined to battle on," the source added.
Robin appeared to be winning the battle against cancer after undergoing chemotherapy since he was diagnosed last year.
He had been fighting the disease at home in Thame, Oxon, with wife Dwina by his side but his weight loss worried friends and family.
The singer's health problems began in October 2010 when he had emergency surgery to treat a twisted bowel - the condition that killed his twin brother Maurice nine years ago, aged 53.
In April last year the teetotal vegan was rushed to hospital with abdominal pains, which were found to be caused by previously undetected cancer. (ANI)
