London, Apr 8 (ANI): Model Brooklyn Decker has revealed that when her tennis star husband Andy Roddick had first asked her out she ignored his request for months.
Roddick - a former US Open champion and three times Wimbledon finalist - spotted Decker on a TV talk show and was instantly smitten.
"He got his agent to call my agent," the Daily Mail quoted the model and actress as saying.
Flattered but cautious, she ignored his incessant requests for a date.
"He wooed me... But it took five months until I called him back! And then that was that," she said.
Roddick won her over on their first date itself, which consisted of dinner and a comedy show.
"I said, "This guy is a catch. This is the man I'm going to marry," said Decker.
"He made me laugh - he is hilarious and he is also chivalrous," she added. (ANI)
