Wellington, April 7 (ANI): Bee venom products have taken the beauty world by storm with their instant anti-ageing results.
Dubbed as "nature's Botox", celebs like Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Kate Middleton, Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow all swear by it.
Beckham's favourite product is Manuka Doctor's API Nourish Repeairing Skin Cream, and it's now available in New Zealand, Stuff.co.nz reported.
The product has raised a few eyebrows, with venom equivalent to 10,000 bee stings in every pot.
But it's proved a hit in the UK, where first shipments of the product sold out within three weeks.
Bee venom is carefully harvested from the bees without harming them. It is then purified and blended with PBV and UMF18+ Manuka Honey.
When applied to the skin, bee venom encourages the body to react as if it has been lightly stung, and increases the blood flow and cell renewal to the area of application.
It plumps out wrinkles and rejuvenates the skin surface.
The Manuka Doctor Apitherapy ranges are available online or at the Manuka Doctor shop in Auckland. (ANI)
