Abu Dhabi, April 7 (IANS/WAM) A total of 930 children who were born to Emirati mothers will get the United Arab Emirates citizenship.
The Commission tasked with the implementation of the directives of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the naturalisation of children born to Emirati mothers, has submitted a list of such children in this regard.
These children will be eligible for UAE citizenship on turning 18-year-olds.
In February, Sheikh Khalifa had issued federal decrees granting citizenship to 1,117 eligible children born to Emirati mothers as per the Presidential Ordinance in this regard.
