Sunny morning for Delhi

New Delhi, April 6 (IANS) It was a warm, sunny Good Friday morning for the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 22.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above average. The met department forecast a sultry day, with a partly cloudy sky by evening.

"The day would be warm and humid, but the sky is likely to turn partly cloudy by evening. Maximum and minimum temperature will be around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature recorded Thursday was 37.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average for the season.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. stood at 44 percent.
