London, Apr 6 (ANI): Dannii Minogue's ex, model Kris Smith, reportedly broke up with the former 'X Factor' judge because he was tired of her parents being around all the time.
Smith, 33, is said to have "wanted out of Minogue Inc" as their four-year romance turned sour.
He claimed her "hands-on" parents Ron and Carol were almost constantly around Minogue, 40, and their 21-month-old son Ethan
The former England rugby player is also said to have felt the singer cooled towards him after Ethan's birth.
"Kris is just an easy-going guy... He's not up for all the stuff that goes along with being part of the Minogue corporation," the Mirror quoted a friend of the couple as saying.
Since news of the split broke earlier this week, Minogue and Ethan have been holed up with her mum and dad in Australia.
A source close to her said she was not aware Smith had issues with her parents.
