London, Apr 6(ANI): Chelsea captain John Terry will play out the remaining fixtures this season for the club, despite scans on Thursday confirming two broken ribs.
Terry picked up two fractures during the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Benfica.
But he still played with the injury at Aston Villa last Saturday, and for an hour in Wednesday's victorious second leg against the Portuguese team.
The Daily Express quoted Terry, as saying: "I've had a difficult time but hopefully I will be OK."
Terry has vowed that he will miss as few games as possible, with an FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham, and a two-legged Champions League clash with Barcelona looming in 13 days' time. (ANI)
