Jim Morrison's family home up for sale

Washington, Apr 5 (ANI): Jim Morrison's Florida home, which has been owned by his family since 1932, is up for sale.

The Pensecola property, where it's believed the tragic rocker was conceived, has The Doors singer's cousin Bruce currently living there, Contactmusic reported.

The rock legend's naval officer father and mother stayed there while Admiral Morrison was attending flight school in Pensacola in 1943.

The current owner has asked bosses at The Doors' Strange Days fanzine to spread the word that the house is for sale.

A post announcing the sale reads: "This house has a great history even without the Morrison connection! In the 1920s the house served as a tea room or speak easy. It is zoned commercial or residential so this location could be turned into an incredible restaurant." (ANI)
