London, Apr 5 (ANI): The wax replica of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been unveiled by the Madam Tussauds in London, after being created by a 30-strong team working for the famous UK attraction.
Their pose mimics the announcement of their engagement at St James's Palace, with a nervous but happy Prince William clasping his hands and Kate beaming in her blue Issa dress.
Kate is even wearing a replica of the sapphire and diamond engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.
Tussauds revealed that they added the pair to their royal zone due to public demand.
"They were right at the top of what visitors wanted to see," the Sun quoted Stephen Mansfield, sculptor, as saying.
There were other unveilings at Tussauds in New York and Amsterdam.
But in America a curlier Kate is in a replica of the Alexander McQueen gown she wore at a BAFTA do in Los Angeles last year.
While, in Holland she sports the Temperley London dress she chose for the film premiere of War Horse in the capital. (ANI)
