Mancini hoping for seven-in-seven score and Man U hiccup to grab Premier League title

London, Thu, 05 Apr 2012 ANI

London, Apr 5(ANI): Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said his team would do everything to win the Premier League title this season, and believes if they win their next seven games then they can become the new English champions.

Mancini said if they reach 92 points, and gather 21 points from their last seven games, then the title would be theirs, as they dropped seven of the last 12 available points to surrender the initiative to bitter rivals Manchester United.

"After the Sunderland game I said only, 'Believe in yourselves' to my players because we have seven games and 21 points. I think with 92 points we will win the title. It is important we arrive in the derby one or two points behind or maybe above them," The Sun quoted Mancini, as saying.

But, Mancini admits it is not going to very easy for the, and they have to rely on United to lose some points.

"This could be difficult because I don't know if they can lose six points but it is important we believe in this," Mancini said.

"We should be strong, I think, always. The message for the fans is always the same: We will do everything to win this title. Maybe in this moment we can think it is difficult - but it can be enough to do some better results than United," he added. (ANI)
