Dubai, April 3 (IANS/WAM) The UAE has temporarily banned import of animals with cloven hooves from Egypt, following reports of foot and mouth disease there.
Environment and Water Minister Rashid Ahmad bin Fahad issued the order Tuesday.
The ordinance also included ban on meat products made from these animals.
The ban will stay in force until a final verification is made about the epidemiological situation in Egypt.
