New Delhi, Apr.2 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday questioned Vectra Group chief Ravi Rishi for a third time in connection with the controversy around the Indian Army's Tatra-BEML deal.
The CBI also reportedly examined the share holding documents of Vectra.
A decision on whether Rishi will be questioned further in connection with the deal, or whether he is to be arrested, will be taken after going through the records produced by his employees.
Rishi is under the CBI's scanner after Chief of Army Staff General VK Singh had alleged that he was offered bribe by a former army officer who claimed to be representing Vectra for clearing the purchase of 600 sub-standard Tatra trucks.
Rishi had earlier sought more time from the CBI, but on Sunday, the investigating agency issued a lookout notice against the Vectra CMD to prevent him from leaving the country.
General Singh has claimed that he was offered a Rs.14 crore bribe to clear the Tatra deal.
The Vectra Group holds a majority stake in Czech-based Tatra which makes trucks for the armed forces. (ANI)
