New Delhi, March 31 (IANS) A man, along with his accomplice, was arrested Saturday in south Delhi for murdering his lover's husband and carrying his body in a taxi for disposing it of, police said.
Kushal Pal and his accomplice Dinesh were arrested when they were stopped for checking for their hired car on Ring Road near Ashram area around 4 a.m.
Babu Singh, in his 30s, was strangled by the two after he came to know about the illicit relationship between Kushal Pal and his wife. The victim was related to the accused.
The body, wrapped in a bed-sheet, was lying on the rear seat of the car when detected by police.
The accused revealed that they strangled Babu Singh Friday evening at Kotla Mubarakpur in south Delhi.
As per their conspiracy, they called the deceased in the evening at Kushal Pal's house and drank liquor and strangled the victim.
They wrapped the body in a bed sheet, hired a taxi, kept the body in the vehicle and and left the place to dump the body.
