New Delhi, March 30 (IANS) Dia Mirza is happy she is treading new ground. After turning producer, the actress is excited about her first Bengali movie "Paanch Adhyay".
The 30-year-old, whose mother is a Bengali, says this is his first regional movie. The film will be directed by Pratim D. Gupta and is expected to release around Durga Puja in October.
"I want to do few, but quality stuff at this point. I don't feel the need to be on the sets everyday. I am happy I am doing a Bengali film. It's the first time I am doing a regional project, and I am excited," she said.
"Everybody is aware of the sensibilities that Bengali cinema is known for and the intelligence that people associate with it. So I'm glad to be a part of it," she added the former beauty queen.
