London, Mar 30(ANI): Tottenham Hotspurs' chairman Daniel Levy seems to have accepted that team manager Harry Redknapp could become England manager at the end of the season.
As a result, Tottenham has have now turned towards Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers, viewing him as a possible replacement.
Levy is understood to be a major fan of Rodgers, who is seen as one of the rising stars in European football management after working wonders with the South Wales outfit.
Spurs are likely to woo Rodgers, 39, even though he has just signed a new deal at Swansea, The Sun reports.
Former Reading and Watford manager Rodgers had lifted Swansea from the championship to the Premier League in his first season in charge at the club, and they have done very well in this season, as they currently lie at number 10 in the league table.
Initially on a one-year rolling deal, Rodgers signed a new three and a half year contract but may seriously consider an approach from the north London giants. (ANI)
