Sunny, windy Thursday in Delhi

New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) It was a warm and sunny day in the capital Thursday with gusts of wind blowing through the day.

The day's maximum and minimum temperature were both a notch above average at 32.8 and 19.2 degrees Celsius respectively. The humidity levels wavered between a high of 66 and a low of 21 percent.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhiites can expect similar weather Friday with partly cloudy skies in the morning and a clear, sunny afternoon.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 35 and 19 degrees Celsius," said the IMD official.

Wednesday's maximum temperature was a notch above average at 33.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was normal for this time of the year at 17.8 degrees Celsius.
