New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) Planning a holiday? Go for asymmetric hem shirts and wrap dresses, says designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh who feels vacation wear needs makeover in terms of cuts and designs.

"The Indian vacation wear line is limited to sarongs, jump suits, kaftans and short dresses in same style and pattern. But its time to make your vacation wear refreshing and stylish. My latest collection in cruisewear line elevate the woman within, adding not just glamour but a look that creates something simple yet fabulous," Ghosh told IANS.

Her collection especially designed for holiday season comprises of asymmetric hem shirt dresses to wrap dresses in fabrics like chiffon and georgette. From tangerine, bright canary yellow, orange to ivory and red, her collection boasts of all summer colours.

"All ensembles in my collection are lightweight, breathable and easy to pack and launder. The heat pressed pleat dresses offer a crease resistant and hassle free travel-wardrobe essential," added the designer known for her chic and glamorous designs.

The collection will be available at designer's outlet. The price starts from Rs.15,000.
