New Delhi, Wed, 28 Mar 2012 ANI

New Delhi, Mar 28 (ANI): Delhi Police on Wednesday forcibly evicted a Tibetan protestor who tried to storm into the hotel where Chinese President Hu Jintao, who arrived in India for the BRICS summit, was staying.

Lobsang Tsering, shouted slogans against Hu Jintao outside the hotel as police officials forcibly whisked him away before he could enter the highly guarded hotel premises.

Hu Jintao arrived in New Delhi earlier on Wednesday to participate in the summit of BRICS nations, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Tibetans residing in India had held huge demonstrations in several parts of India protesting the Jintao's visit to India.

A few hours prior to Jintao's arrival, Tibetan exile Jamphel Yeshi, died in a hospital, two days after setting himself on fire here on Monday in protest of the Chinese President's visit. (ANI)
