Panaji, Mar. 26 (ANI): Goa Police have arrested 16 persons for mining iron ore illegally.
They were arrested in Morlem village over the weekend.
According to police, the illegally mined iron ore was stored at Cotombi, a village on the banks of Mandovi River, from where ships exported it.
Opposition leader Pratapsingh Rane on Monday demanded a probe in the case. (ANI)
