Chennai, Mar.25 (ANI): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has reportedly written to her Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Kiran Kumar Reddy, seeking the release of four thousand million cubic feet (tmcft) of water from Kandaleru reservoir due for the months of January-April.
She told Reddy that this demand was part of the Krishna Water Sharing Agreement.
She said that the water must be released to meet the drinking water requirements of Chennai. (ANI)
