Seoul, March 25 (IANS) India and South Korea will expand defence ties even as they signed an agreement Sunday to ease visa norms to promote greater business and people-to-people visits.
India will "position a defence attache in Seoul before the end of the year", Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told reporters after the signing of the agreement on visa norms.
He said India had also sought South African help in joining entities like the Nuclear Supplier Group, The Missile Technologies, Control regime, Australia Group and the Wasamar Agreement.
The visa agreement was signed by Sanjay Singh, secretary (east), in the Indian External Affairs Ministry and Kim Sung-han from the South Korean foreign ministry.
