London, Mar 21(ANI): McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton has said he is up and ready for a season long battle with current champions Red Bull.
Hamilton believes his competition this season with Red Bull can be similar to what he faced from Ferrari in 2008.
"A battle with Red Bull would be a bit like the 2008 season with Ferrari," The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.
"We've a competitive car and we're strong," he said.
Hamilton is gearing for Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix after he finished third on the podium in season opener Australian Grand Prix, which was won by his team mater Jensen Button.
Defending champion Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull came second during the Australian Grand Prix.(ANI)
