Washington, Mar 21 (ANI): Rosie O'Donnell put aside news of her show's cancellation on the OWN network and had an early 50th birthday celebration with Mike Tyson, who dropped in to surprise her.
The former boxing champ showed up at the Paris Club's sexy upstairs lounge Studio Paris in Chicago, where the talk show host was celebrating with her fiance Michelle Rounds, People Magazine reported.
The birthday girl kicked things off by addressing her show's recent demise and encouraging her production team and other attendees to have a great time.
In addition to her 'Rosie Show' staff, the show invited 50 women also turning 50 to attend, and they went wild when O'Donnell took the stage with the local favorite '80s cover band Sixteen Candles and rocked out on the drums to 'Jesse's Girl'.
When rolling out the cake, Tyson led the crowd in singing "Happy Birthday".
He had brought along his wife Kiki, 3-year-old daughter, and niece for the festivities.
After the bash, he shared an Instagram photo with a caption that read, "@Rosie is the coolest. Here at her 50th Bday party in Chicago."
Tyson also wrote to O'Donnell on Twitter, "@Rosie had a great time at your 50th bday last nite. Thx for being so nice to my wife and daughter. See u on April 14th for my show in Vegas."
O'Donnell has since replied by tweeting, "I will be there - u r quite lovely with such an open heart - ur family is beautiful - so r u - xxx see u in Vegas!!!"
She turns 50 on Wednesday, March 21. (ANI)
