Washington, Mar 20 (ANI): Robert De Niro told the crowd at a New York fundraiser that it was too early for the country to have another white first lady.
The 85-person event was headlined by Michelle Obama.
"Callista Gingrich. Karen Santorum. Ann Romney. Now do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?" the Politico quoted him as asking the people gathered there.
Someone in the crowd shouted, "No!"
"Too soon, right?" the actor quickly added.
Celebrities including Beyonce, her mother Tina Knowles, Star Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Gayle King, Angela Bassett and Ben Stiller were spotted at the fundraiser.
Tickets started at 5000 dollars per person, benefiting the Obama Victory Fund.
Film producer Harvey Weinstein, a bundler who's brought in more than 500,000 dollars in donation, was also seen at the event. (ANI)

Why anyone admires these out of touch Hollywood celebrities is beyond me. They show their liberal hypocrisy and intolerance and their adoring fans embrace them. They're nothing but racists who preach phony tolerance.
