Islamabad, Mar 19 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's counsel Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the Supreme Court's possible verdict against his client on the issue of not writing a letter to Swiss Authorities over the National reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) case, would not lead to his disqualification.
The Dawn quoted Ahsan, as saying that the court should not take any decision on March 21 without hearing him.
During the hearing, Ahsan will file Gilani's reply.
He further said a sentence of less than two years cannot disqualify Gilani, adding that following the constitution of Pakistan does not indicate that they are at odds with the judiciary.
He said that certain elements are creating a rift between the government and judiciary, but they would not let them succeed. (ANI)
