Padma Lakshmi sizzles at charity event after losing baby battle

London, Mar 16 (ANI): Padma Lakshmi has just lost a messy battle with her former partner, Adam Dell, over their two-year-old daughter Krishna.

But the model ensured that the disappointing news didn't steer her away from a star-studded night out.

The 41-year-old put on a brave face and stole the limelight by donning a sequined silver and feather gown at the Blossom Ball in New York, the Daily Mail reported.

The 'Top Chef' host wore a big smile as she posed on the red carpet at the fundraising event, which was thrown by the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

She was joined by a host of other glamorous guests including Tyra Banks, Susan Sarandon and Debbie Harry.

Earlier on in the day the 'cookbook' author decided to combat her bad news by indulging in a spot of pampering, and she was seen having a pedicure at a nail salon.

It seemed that she was feeling a little cold as she walked to the salon, despite being wrapped up in a thick khaki jacket with a shearling collar.

The TV presenter teamed it with a pair of jeans and trainers for her pamper session.

It comes just after her ex-boyfriend brother of Dell computer firm founder Michael Dell, has succeeded in being recognised as Krishna's father.

He was also fighting Lakshmi, whom he dated for two years, for full custody, and has secured extra custody and visitation rights.

The toddler will now take the name Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell. (ANI)
