St Vincent, Mar 15(ANI): Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade has said he is enjoying working along side Brad Haddin in the West Indies, as he is keen to take a few tips from the veteran.
Wade was named in the 16-man squad to play in three Tests against the West Indies next month, joining batsman Peter Forrest as the only uncapped players in the squad.
Haddin has been given support by selector and former Test wicketkeeper Rod Marsh to stay in the eleven for the first Test in Barbados. Wade is clearly eyeing a Test spot and is keen to earn his first Baggy Green.
However, before the start of the ODI series in St Vincent on Friday, Wade said he was relishing his time working with Haddin, and is making sure he gains the maximum from Haddin's experience.
"It's started really well. Obviously we've had a couple of sessions working together leading up to the one-day series," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Wade, as saying.
"He's really good, he's got a lot of knowledge obviously in these conditions and he's played a lot of international cricket. I'm just opening my ears and listening to everything he's got to say," he said. (ANI)
