'Braveheart' hero Wallace on TV for biopic

Washington, Mar 13 (ANI): Mel Gibson's 'Braveheart' hero William Wallace is set to be on TV screens as part of a major biopic series.

Wallace will chronicle the life of the Scottish historical legend and war hero and will be based on a concept created by 'Braveheart' adviser Seoras Wallace, reports Contactmusic.

However, no casting details have been announced yet but, according to reports, Gibson will not be part of the TV project.

Wallace spent his life battling English armies and rival Robert The Bruce and trying to unify his native Scotland. (ANI)
