New Delhi, Mar 13 (ANI): Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ajit Singh will inaugurate the India Aviation 2012 at Hyderabad on Wednesday with the first ever display of Boeing 787 Dreamliner in India being one of the key highlights of the event.
The event will see participation of leading business and commercial aircraft manufacturers including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embrear, Gulfstream, Hawker beechcraft, Piaggio Aero, UAC-Sukhoi, IRKUT-Berieve etc.
The India Aviation 2012 is being held from March 14-18, at Hyderabad. The first two editions of 'India Aviation' were held in 2008 and 2010 respectively.
The third edition of this premier international exhibition and conference on civil aviation is expected to showcase and share with stakeholders growth opportunities in Indian aviation sector.
The theme of this year's event is 'India: The Emerging Aviation Hub'.
Largest event on civil aviation in India will offer a 6000 sqm exhibition space, 18 hospitality chalets and more than 25 aircrafts on display.
A postage stamp to mark centenary of civil aviation in India will also be released on the opening day of the show.
India Aviation Show 2012, which is held biennially, is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). (ANI)
