London, Mar 12(ANI): Tottenham Hotspurs' manager Harry Redknapp is enraged over claims that speculation over England's manager job is destabilizing his team, resulting in three losses on the trot and has denied it.
It is the first time the North Londoners have lost three in a row since Redknapp became boss in 2008, but he denied it has anything to do with the Three Lions vacancy.
"That's absolute rubbish. You saw the effort against Everton. How can it destabilize the team when they come out and play like they did? They ain't gone 'the manager is leaving we ain't bothered any more," The Sun quoted Redknapp, as saying.
He said the three matches, which they had lost were really tough fixtures for them
"We've had three very, very difficult games. Man United at home and Arsenal and Everton away," he said.
But, Redknapp is confident that Spurs' would still finish third in the title race ahead of bitter rivals Arsenal.
"I still think we will finish third," he said. (ANI)
