Britney Spears 'offered 10mn dollars for US X Factor'

Wellington, March 10 (ANI): Britney Spears was recently linked to a role on US 'X Factor' judging panel alongside Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

Now, Deadline.com has claimed that the 30-year-old star has been offered 10 million dollars to take part in the second season of the talent show, Stuff.co.nz reported.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spear's fiance Jason Trawick is said to be negotiating a deal for the star.

Cowell has been looking for new superstars to join his 'X Factor' judging panel following the departure of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

He recently admitted that Spears "fascinates" him and would be a great addition to the show because of her "star power".

Other famous faces linked to the panel include Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. (ANI)
