Mumbai, Mar 9 (ANI): A Mumbai sessions court on Friday rejected Bollywood actor John Abraham's surrender plea in the 2006 rash driving case.
The actor had, in the incident, injured two pedestrians while riding his motorbike in Mumbai's Khar Danda area.
Abraham was taken into custody after the court agreed that he should spend 15 days in jail for rash and negligent driving, a sentence given to him by a lower court in 2010.
The court decided that the actor should remain in custody till the plea for surrender was heard. Abraham will remain in custody now. He will appeal against the decision of the sessions court in the Bombay High Court at 4 p.m. and will also move for bail. (ANI)
