New Delhi, Mar. 7 (ANI): Sources in the government on Wednesday cautioned that no conclusions should be drawn from the arrest of an individual in connection with last month's Israeli diplomat attack case.
They said that investigating agencies had been pursuing many leads in connection with the case, and this had led to the arrest of a freelance journalist who was working with the Iranian news agency.
Earlier, media reports said that a 50-year-old man had been detained for questioning by Delhi Police in connection with the February 13 car bomb attack on an Israeli Embassy vehicle in New Delhi last month.
The suspect was picked up in the national capital and was being questioned, police sources said.
Delhi Police Commissioner B K Gupta was quoted, as saying that a detailed briefing would be made later in the day on the reported arrest.
Tal Yehoshua, the wife of Israel's defence attache and an Indian driver of the embassy vehicle, were among four people injured in the blast caused by a magnetic bomb that was stuck to the vehicle. (ANI)
