New Delhi, Mar 6 (ANI): The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed Prakash Mishraas the new Director General of the National Disaster Response Force and Civil Defence (NDRF and CD).
Mishra belongs to the 1977 batch of the Indian Police Service (IPS).
He was appointed in the Orissa Cadre of IPS.
The appointment will be effective from the date of his taking charge of the post till his retirement on February 29, 2016. (ANI)
