London, Tue, 06 Mar 2012 ANI

London, Mar 6 (ANI): 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two' and 'Drive' have received five nominations each for this year's Empire Awards.

The movies would be competing against each other for best film, best director and best actor categories, the BBC reported.

'The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes', 'Attack the Block', 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' and' The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' have been short listed in four categories.

The awards are given on the basis of votes received from the British public via the film magazine's website.

However, Oscar-winning releases 'The Artist' and 'The Help' failed to make the list of nominations.

Daniel Radcliffe, Daniel Craig, Gary Oldman and Andy Serkis will fight it out against each other for the best actor trophy.

Winners will be revealed at a ceremony in London on Sunday March 25. (ANI)
