One hurt in bomb blast near Turkish PM's office in Ankara

Ankara (Turkey), Mar. 5 (ANI): One person was injured after a percussion bomb exploded near the office of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in national capital Ankara on Monday

 

The blast occurred ahead of a Cabinet meeting.

 

Gulf News and ABC News quoted Turkey's state-run television, as saying that the injured person was a government employee.

 

Both papers said that bomb experts, wearing protective gear, are searching the area for more bombs, if any. (ANI)
