Adelaide (Australia), Mar.5 (ANI): Australia will wait until Tuesday morning before deciding whether to risk opener David Warner in the second tri-series final against Sri Lanka in Adelaide.
Australia defeated Sri Lanka by 15 runs in the first final on Sunday in Brisbane and will clinch the series with victory at Adelaide Oval.
Opener Warner blasted the eighth-highest maiden one-day ton (163) when it counted - inflating Australia's total to 321 at the Gabba - but aggravated a chronic groin strain.
Shane Watson is likely to partner Matthew Wade should the left-hander be sidelined as expected.
"We all hope he is up and firing, it was a fantastic innings the other night," teammate David Hussey said about Warner.
Hussey said Australia was determined to seal the series in Adelaide against a rival that had had the Aussies' measure during the preliminary rounds.
The Daily Telegraph quoted Hussey, as saying: "We have talked about getting ourselves up for the competition and tomorrow's a chance to clinch the series."
Hussey took 4/43 to slow Sri Lanka at the Gabba. (ANI)
