Bhopal, Mar 4 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has questioned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state legislator Dhruv Narayan Singh in connection with the murder of Right to Information activist Shehla Masood.
Singh told media here that the CHI had been given all the information that they wanted in connection with the case.
Singh was reportedly asked for information related to the bitter love triangle connecting him, Masood and prime accused Zahida Parvez.
Parvez was reportedly envious of Masood for her closeness to Singh, and this could be a probable reason for her murder.
Police had produced Saba Farooqui, a close friend of interior designer Pervez, before a court, and Farooqui has been remanded to CBI custody till March 6.
Masood was found shot in her car parked outside her home in Bhopal on August 16, 2011 while she was on her way to an anti-corruption protest in New Delhi. (ANI)
