London, Mar 4 (ANI): Noel Gallagher, who rocked the O2 Arena with his confidence, dedicated songs in the post-Oasis gig to the people he adores most - his daughter and Mario Balotelli.
Bantering with the crowd as he fronted the High Flying Birds, the 44-year-old musician certainly wasn't short of charm, the Mirror reported.
The arena was deafening with jeers when he proudly told them, "Balotelli is better than all of you put together!"
The former 'Oasis' member has been saluting the Manchester City footballer after his string of extraordinary off-field antics found a place in his heart.
Gallagher chose to kick off the set with 'Oasis favourite' 'To Be Free', possibly a swipe at his past and troubles with brother Liam, before dabbling with some of the Birds' newer material, including 'The Death Of You And Me'.
Another new track, 'Everybody's On The Run', was popular but overall it was the classics still worked best.
Gallagher, king of Brit-rock Royalty, was joined in harmony by anyone who still had their voice left inside the sold-out O2 arena for 'Half The World Away', otherwise known as the theme tune for TV series 'The Royle Family'.
'Supersonic' got stripped back to a raw acoustic and he closed with a hair-raising rendition of 'Don't Look Back In Anger'. (ANI)
