Islamabad, Mar 3 (ANI): Pakistan Interior Rehman Malik has said that a complete security would be provided to the Bangladesh cricket team during its upcoming tour to the county.
Malik said the team was briefed by him over safety measures for Bangladesh players, adding that officials from both the countries would work out a common security plan.
"Bangladeshi authorities will be facilitated to review all arrangements taken by the government. We are hopeful that all maters would be set in a best way," The Nation quoted Malik, as saying.
"Bangladesh seeks political ownership of this cricket event and we assure it to them," he added.
Earlier, a Bangladeshi security team, led by Mustafa Kamal, arrived in Islamabad and reviewed security arrangements in the Interior Ministry. (ANI)
