Washington, Mar 3 (ANI): President Barack Obama switched to Facebook's new Timeline feature on Thursday, and one of the images it included was his birth certificate on the Obama campaign's "Made in the USA" coffee mug.
His important life events on the timeline included his marriage to first lady Michelle Obama, the launch of his presidential campaign in February 2007 and the election night speech at Chicago's Grant Park, CBS News reported.
The Obama campaign began selling copies of the President's birth certificate imprinted on t-shirts and coffee mugs in the summer of 2011 to make light of the accusations that he was not born in the US.
"There's really no way to make this stuff completely go away," Julianna Smoot, Obama 2012 deputy campaign manager said in May 2011.
"The only thing we can do is laugh at it - and make sure as many other people as possible are in on the joke," she said.
Other life events on the timeline include graduation from Harvard Law School and the President's first job at Baskin-Robbins.
Facebook Pages is a feature that is most commonly referred to as a "fan page." The feature lets businesses, organizations and public figures broadcast news and photos to the general public on the social network. (ANI)
